ACHIEVING WORLD PEACE
In the past century, just two of the many wars
waged killed 70 million people. Yet strangely some of the world's
leading economists, statesmen and thinkers believe there has never
been a greater prospect of actually achieving world peace. Despite
the complexity of the issues involved, the solutions may be quite
simple and there is good
news on the horizon.
What are the stumbling blocks to world peace?
What causes war? Why do we continue to kill each
other in such huge
numbers? Is war simply the continuation of politics with a big
stick? Or is it merely human
nature? Is there such a thing as a just
war?
What can we do to further world peace?
Does religion cause war? Does religion do more
damage than good for world peace?
do religions cause wars or promote world peace?
What can we do to achieve world peace? Can an
individual make a difference? Is there any good
news?
